Square Celtic knot 3a in violet and bright green

Being confident with the semi experimental setup to do shaft switching on the two warp rug weave I designed a complicated design in terms of shaft switching. The design is the square Celtic knot I based the Broken Knot design on. Celtic knot work is a part of my cultural heritage as well as a challenging subject for the number of switches. The black warp subtly tempers the strong contrast between the two wefts without changing them. Black weaving warp and a violet versus bright green wefts. The two warp rug weave based on tabby with shaft switching. Cotton stuffer warp, carpet wool weft and weaving warp. Finish philippine edge with weaving warps darned back in.
