Solomon’s Seal design in blue-grey-green and burnt orange

Solomon’s seal is a tradition design consisting of two inter-threaded links. A motif which I have elaborated by making each link tripled or inscribed with two grooves, which it is I find I change my mind between viewings. Irregular striping in close colours of both fore and back grounds adds visually interesting texture. Three end block weave with shaft switching. Cotton warp, carpet wool weft. Finish Damascus edge.
