Solid/Shadow Rectangles in Blue/Green and Natural

This was one of a series or designs based around the idea of a bold simple rectangle and a shadow or ghost of that rectangle indicated with the small squares. For this rug I translated the shadow with a slide and swivel inspired by memories of putting the transfers on an Airfix model Spitfire. The weave is 6 end two-tie unit weave with shaft switching, chosen to give well defined small squares. Cotton warp, wool weft.
