Silver, Green and Magenta Krokbragd

Krokbragd is a Norwegian word meaning crooked weave or path which nicely describes the patterns it produces. This Krokbragd rug is woven using a very limited choice of shapes and only three colours of hard-twist carpet wool: silver grey, magenta and dark green with black added late in the dying process to produce uneven colour. The design was very much a repeat of Illusion Krokbragd I but with the centre panel redesigned. Interestingly the illusory colour change in the accent magenta is very faint compared with the original choice of colours. Cotton warp wool weft.
