Semi-experimental warp
Simple blocks in dark red/brown and burnt orange

The first fully serious warp of the two warp rug weave. The stuffer warps were set up in Fibonacci sequence stripes and a weaving warp of a variegated marl threaded 1-2-3-4 which allows tabby and various twill and related weaves. A “sideways” design to finish the weaving warp. Based on two earth tone colours to complement the variable weaving warp. Here I did not try to do anything clever and the result is one that I am completely happy with. Two warp rug weave based on tabby, and Russian twill with 2 blocks. Cotton stuffer warp, carpet wool weft and weaving warp. Finish philippine edge with weaving and stuffer warps darned back in.
