Paint spiral design in violet and green grey

A design based on my attempts to freehand paint a spiral from a project years old. I was now fully confident in the shaft switching system and my ability to use it. The design requires almost constant changes in the switching mechanism. A more subtle contrast than the similarly coloured Square Celtic knot 3a in violet and bright green above. The white warp tempers the strong contrast between the two wefts by diluting their intensity. White weaving warp and a violet versus plied Harris tweed green grey wefts. The two warp rug weave based on tabby with shaft switching. Cotton stuffer warp, carpet wool weft and weaving warp. Finish philippine edge with weaving warps darned back in.
