Henri Matisse is one of my artistic heroes for his mastery of colour, his incredible ability to abstract an image without losing the subject, and his cutouts which represent a whole new art form. I keep coming back to his works as source of inspiration. This is another try at simply reproducing one of his works. Three end block weave with shaft switching. Cotton warp, carpet and other wool weft. Finish Damascus edge.
