Krokbragd is a weave structure I keep coming back to mostly because of its simplicity and wealth of design potential. All the designs are due to the choice of the colour of the weft in each pick. The motifs in this design are very traditional and iillustrate the meaning of krokbragd; crooked path. Close colours and value give a restful visual feel. Functionally one sided. Krokbragd. Cotton warp, carpet wool weft. Finish Damascus edge.
