Krokbragd based on a berber-ish hard twist

Krokbragd is a weave structure that I keep coming back to. This is due to the wealth of decorative possibilities and that the top surface of the rug has no floats and so will be as hard wearing as possible. Mostly, however, because it is a weave where I can do the design on the fly without having to plan in detail beforehand. In this design I neglected all the characteristically krokbragd motifs apart from a repeating ticking in orange. Then I used the weave structure to hand put in little pieces of colour replacing the orange squares. The effect aimed for was little jewel bright squares of colour. Cotton warp, carpet wool weft. Finish Damascus edge.
