Danskbragd in Grey, Red and Black Experiment

This danskbragd was originally conceived as a larger piece with the motifs repeating symmetrically about a centre band, the black diamonds with motifs in their centres. The three colours, black, red and the particular grey were so well balanced that I decided to go ahead even though I did not have enough of the grey to complete the design. I do intend to come back to this design but I will have to solve how to dye up this even mid grey. The weave is danskbragd based on krokbragd. Finished half Damascus edge with double knotting. Cotton warp, wool weft.
