Chess Piece Rooks

Reversible, woven in the boundweave 6-end 2-tie unit weave with shaft switching. I took advantage of the natural defined columns that this weave produces to create the checker board design. The weave is two-sided and the ghost squares on the reverse of the checker board motifs are a feature of the technique. Cotton warp wool weft.
