Cheat Krokbragd Based on Navy Blue

The “cheat” refers to switching which pairs of shafts (1+3/2+4) of the 4 shaft weave are always moved together. This allows more subtle design elements than traditional krokbragd, which is a 3 shaft weave, can produce. Here I used it to produce diagonal sequences of colour variations which march the whole length of the rug. The weave is krokbragd. Finished with a Philippine edge. Cotton warp, wool weft.
