Celtic Knot from Sketch Design in Fawn and Black

For this design I decided to go with my concept sketches rather than, as I had been doing, correcting them geometrically to make them nicely symmetrical. Also I decided keep the indications of the under/over in the knotwork heavily emphasised as in the original sketches. As a result the knot loops are somewhat stylised and abstract which I find interesting and pleasing. The weave is 3 end block weave with shaft switching. Finished with Damascus edge. Cotton warp, wool weft.
