Celtic Knot 3 Design in Red on Black and White Fibonacci Striping

The Fibonacci series is a set of numbers where each new number in the series is obtained by adding the last number to the last but one and starting with 1 and 1. The ratio between each successive number approximates ever more closely to the golden mean. The golden mean (section) is supposedly the ideal proportions for a rectangle and things in that ratio are pleasing. The simplified design of the knot is to not detract from the striping. The weave is 3 end block weave with shaft switching. Finished with knot twist knot. Cotton warp, wool weft.
