Celtic Knot 3 Design Brown and Natural

This was an experiment with using the synthetic weft and with a much more “spur of the moment” approach to indicating the under/over in the knot design. The weft was good to weave with; very little drawing in and beating down really well. The resulting rug has proved to be hard wearing but feels slightly stiff to handle. The weave is 3 end block weave with shaft switching. Finished by oversewing with cotton tape. Cotton Warp, unknown synthetic (possibly polypropylene) weft.
