Brown Danskbragd with Flowers

The technique of danskbragd refers to a class of weaves often involving pick-up techniques and long floats on one side (usually the back), allowing for an interesting range of design possibilities. For this rug I have elaborated on krokbragd and alternated between formal patterns and more freely designed sections which I wove “design as you go” with a rich brown as a unifying colour.
